There was panic in the area with many wondering what could be the cause of the explosion.
Four persons were injured in today’s explosion of a Petroleum Motor Spirit barge belonging to MRS petroleum company, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has said. He also stated that the fire was put out by emergency services in the area.
The huge explosion, which was followed by fire balls, had residents and workers in the area in a panic.
The explosion happened at a facility jointly owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote and his brother Sayyau Dantata.
