 PDP Senators staged a walkout from their chambers yesterday afternoon before Amaechi's confirmation. They had insisted that the senate stick with the recommendation by the Ethics and Privileges committee that looked into all petitions leveled against the former Rivers governor and recommended that his confirmation be suspended due to the various court cases on alleged corrupt practices against him.
