A 20 year old British man, Michael Steven Sandford arrested at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas told the Police he tried to grab an officer's gun so he could kill the billionaire Republican presidential candidate.
The anti Trump protester who appeared in court on Monday, said he even went to Battlefield Vegas shooting range on Friday to learn how to shoot. He said he fired 20 rounds from a 9mm Glock pistol to learn how to use it
FG suspends tenure policy in the Federal civil service
The Federal government has ordered the suspension of tenure policy in the federal civil service. A statement Haruna R. Imrana, the Director of Communication at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the suspension is with immediate effect.

The documents showed that in some of the exhibits tendered in convicting Mr. Jefferson of bribery, a Mrs. Buhari was mentioned as transferring $170,000 to the American politician using a firm as proxy.
“Government Exhibits 36-87 (6/26/02 $170,000 wire transfer from account in Nigeria in the name of Aisha Buhari to an account in the name of The ANJ Group, LLC, identifying “William Jefferson” as Beneficiary),” the U.S. Government Sentencing Memorandum said on page 22.More.....

Banker Sentenced To 39 Years In Jail For Stealing Dead Customers Money
Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court on Thursday sentenced a banker, Olawale Garuba, to 39 years imprisonment for stealing from the dead.
The convict was arraigned alongside six others in July 2015 for conspiring among themselves to steal over N30, 000,000 from the bank account a deceased customer of a bank where the convict works.
The fraud was uncovered by the bank when they discovered that some of their staff, including the convict, had connived with proxies to steal from a dormant account of one of the bank’s customers.

Jide Kosoko's wife, Henrietta, to be laid to rest on Friday June 10th
Henrietta Kosoko, the wife of Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, who died at a hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun state on Monday June 6th, after a prolonged battle with Diabetes, will be laid to rest on Friday June 10th. Jide Kosoko stated this in a statement he released today. The statement reads
"With heavy heart, I hereby officially announce the death of my wife, Henrietta kosoko. It happened at about 10:30 am on Monday 6th of June, 2016 at Al-jolad hospital. There will be a christian wake -keep and artiste performances on Thursday 9th of June , 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm. At Ltv 8, Agidingbi ikeja. The Burial service at the Catholic Church, and interment follows at Atan cementry for Friday 10th of June 2016".

Family member say they will carry out an autopsy on Stephen Keshi, says he did not die of heart attack
Rickey Aburime, a member of Stephen Keshi family, say they will carry out an autopsy on the remains of the former Super Eagles Coach who died today June 8th. Speaking with The Nation, Rickey debunked media reports of Keshi dying from an heart attack. He stated that Keshi was meeting some friends and family members at his Benin City resident when he suddenly fell sick. it took less than 15 minutes to rush him to the hospital after the crisis started but that he died just before he got to the hospital.

Wife of ace actor, Jide Kosoko, Henrietta, passed away two days ago after a long battle with diabetes. Encomium Weekly paid a condolence visit to the Kosoko's Lagos residence at Bariga yesterday and met the widower looking distraught as he was talking with some colleagues and movie marketers, about his wife's death. Jide Kosoko reportedly said,
"I went to a particular event on Monday (June 6), I was not aware that my wife was dead until the person that was with me asked me to check the rumours flying around the social media about my wife’s death.
I referred to it as rumour because I still didn’t believe, if not until I confirmed it myself. I don’t know how to explain the situation. It is an unimaginable loss. Third wife! Won’t the world count the numbers of lives I have lost?."

Former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi dies at age 54
former Super Eagles captain and former coach of the team, Stephen Keshi, has died. According to his family, he died in the early hours of today Wednesday June 8th of Cardiac arrest in Benin, Edo state. He was just 54 years old. His family has announced his death.
“With thanksgiving to God, the Ogbuenyi Fredrick Keshi family of Illah in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, announces the death of Mr. Stephen Okechukwu Chinedu Keshi.ur son, brother, father, father-in-law, brother-in-law, has gone to be with his wife of 35 years (Nkem ), Mrs. Kate Keshi, who passed on on the 9th December 2015. Since her death, Keshi has been in mourning. He came back to Nigeria to be with her. He had planned to fly back today Wednesday, before he suffered a cardiac arrest. He has found rest.” his brother Emmanuel Ado said in a statement.
