An Open Letter to Governor Fashola on the bad state of Lagos state Library

 From LOB Reader.
For weeks, I have planned to visit Lagos State Library or National Library today for an important research. I woke up this morning in high spirit, dressed up and off I went.

I decided to make my first stop at Lagos State Library on d belief that with d transformation going on in Lagos, their library will be close to heaven. On getting there my expectation was smashed. What I saw could only serve for a refugee mortuary. But that is not the story. On getting inside, I met just about three very scanty shelves housing very dusty books of early 50s. The heep of dust in the ceiling fan could be enough to plaster a house. Thank God there was no light to spread it around. That is still not the story. The story is that as I settled to read my own book I went with, not up to an hours, we heard a bang. We were asked to park and leave. "Why?", I asked. "To enable us attend to some official functions" was d response.

I was devastated. But I remembered I still have an option. I left with kind of attitude, "u guys think u can frustrate me? For where! I still have the National Library to fulfil my mission". I took off.

On getting to the National Library, the attached picture is what I met. A gate neatly locked with chains and padlocks.
As I was trying to understand what is happening, a voice resonated form far inside, "We are on STRIKE, go back". I stood for a while, digested the realities on ground and turned back. In truth, my long planned main mission for today has been effectively frustrated by my "leaders".

  2. What you published made a lot of sense. But, what about this?
what if you typed a catchier post title? I am not saying your information is
not solid., however what if you added a title to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean "An Open Letter to Governor Fashola on the bad state of Lagos state Library" is a little vanilla. You should peek at Yahoo's front page
and watch how they create news headlines to get people to click.
You might add a related video or a pic or two to get people
excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
