Ex-President Jonathan and wife arrive Kenya Games Reserve

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan at the weekend stormed Kenya’s Maasai Mara Games Reserve in two chartered planes.One of the planes carried Kenya State security and the second was occupied by Jonathan, his wife Patience and two of their children.
According to the Nation, he is at the reserve for a three-day tour to witness the wildebeest migration.

Face of the man who stabbed Morgan Freeman's grand-daughter to death yesterday

Morgan Freeman's 33 year old daughter E'Dena Hines, was stabbed to death on a New York street near her home yesterday. Her ex-boyfriend was arrested for the murder and was taken to a psychiatric home yesterday. The man has been revealed as 30 year old Lamar Davenport, (left).
A man who saw the attack which took place around 3am, through his window called the police.

Oscar Pistorius to be released next week but will only leave home to attend Church

Oscar Pistorius will only be able to leave his house to go to church when he is freed from jail next week.Oscar who is supposed to be a devout  Christian, whose faith is said to have deepened over recent months, must be accompanied on trips to attend mass.
While under “house arrest” at his uncle’s home he will be allowed few visitors, who will have to be approved by the court, and someone will have to shop for him under strict parole conditions the Sunday Mirror can reveal today.

ICPC quizzes Onyeka Onwenu over N17m contract bribe

The Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development, NCWD, Onyeka Onwenu, has honoured the invitation of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, over the allegation of N17million contract bribe levelled against her.
She was drilled and granted administrative bail by the commission.

 CEO Morgan Entertainment, Emeka Morgan Nwanne Oguejiofor Jr invited Bruno to the US and took him to one of the best hospitasl and paid all the bills including hospital bill feeding and medication bill.When Mr Iwuoha arrived the US, he was on wheel chair but right now he is very healthy. According to the doctors, Bruno will not be able to work or do certain things for 6-12 months, to give room for proper healing.

National Enquirer publishes Bobbi Kristina's death photo

    Following reports Bobbi Kristina's death bed photo was sold for $100,000, the National Enquirer on Wednesday published her last known photo showing her last moments on her deathbed .
The image shows the 22-year-old woman lying unconscious under a blanket in her bed at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Georgia.

It also shows Whitney Houston's death photo on the cover

CBN prohibit foreign currency cash deposits into bank accounts

"The Central Bank of Nigeria has considered the recent statements by Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) concerning the large volume of foreign currencies in their vaults and the decision to stop accepting foreign currency cash deposits into customers’ domiciliary accounts as a welcome development.
    “Therefore, in its continued efforts to stop illicit financial flows in the Nigerian banking system which aligns with the anti-money Laundering stance of the Federal Government, the CBN hereby prohibits from the date of this circular the acceptance of foreign currency cash deposits by DMBs.

Buhari appoints Umaru Garba Danbatta as new NCC boss

President Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Umaru Garba Danbatta as the new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Communications Commission.
Prof. Danbatta, who holds a Doctorate Degree in Electronic Engineering, takes over from Dr. Eugene Juwah whose tenure expired on July 29, 2015.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the new Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Kachikwu, an Executive Vice Chairman of ExxonMobil Africa, reportedly met with President Buhari on Monday night to finalise talks on his vision for the state owned corporation, which has been enmeshed in allegations of corruption and dubious accounting practices.

In a fresh interview with Premium Times, former President Obasanjo said the Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who worked in his administration as Minister of Finance and later resigned is different from the one who worked in the Jonathan-led administration.
    "Take Ngozi (Okonjo-Iweala), who worked for me. And who worked competently for me. Because I know Ngozi’s weaknesses, but I know her strong points. Her strong point is technical competence. But Ngozi needs to be led and to be supervised. Now will you comment on Ngozi who worked for me as the same Ngozi who worked for Jonathan? Will you? But it’s the same person"

NAFDAC DG, Paul Orhi in EFCC's Custody

The Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration And Control, NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhi, has been summoned by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations bordering on abuse of office.
According to Vanguard,Dr. Orhi is currently being questioned by a crack team of detectives for allegedly awarding huge contracts to companies in which he has interests.
