Fashola Bans Mini Skirts, Body Clinging Dresses

 Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s administration has banned indecent dressing among female and male public servants at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja. All forms of clothes exposing the female breasts and other sensitive female body parts have been banned, because it was getting too rampant and out of hand at various departments.

Sound Sultan invited to dine with the queen of England


 Sound Sultan has been invited to England to have dinner with her majesty Queen Elizabeth II with other UN youth ambassadors. The singer mainstreamed a shot of an official invitation from the House of Lords, which is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, inviting him for a date with the Queen.
“I was called to London to dine with the Queen,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

Woman gives birth to stone in Yola

"I was holding a pregnancy for the duration of four years, which I bitterly suffered because of the heavy weight of what is contained in the stomach,” she said. “It was last year around June, I started feeling labour and I was in that condition for three days and finally I delivered a stone.”
    She said that it was after the delivery she now discovered that she was affected with VVF. Responding, Dr Sunday Lengmang, Director VVF Centre, Jos, confirmed that giving birth to a stone or any object was possible.

Charly Boy's father, Justice Oputa, in critical condition

The famous Justice Chukwudifu Oputa (rtd), the father of Charly Boy, is gravely ill at the moment. The former head of the human rights investigation commission, The Oputa Panel, was rushed to the hospital on Friday February 14th where he still lies in bed with partial stroke.
He was rushed from the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, to a specialist hospital in Enugu today. His condition is currently unpredictable and the entire family is hoping for the best but expecting the worse.
Justice Oputa who has been living with his son in Abuja recently traveled to their home town where he fell ill. He will be 90 years old in September this year.

Fashola Signs No Smoking Bill Into Law

Smokers who live in Lagos state, governor Fashola has signed the No Smoking in Public Places Bill into law. It means it is now illegal to lit your cigarettes in public places e.g public toilets, museums, nurseries, any facility used for the care of children etc. According to the law, people who smoke in public places will risk a 3-year jail term. Owners of establishments must also put a 'No Smoking' sign around their property or face 6 months imprisonment or N100,000 fine.

UNILAG to name 15-storey female hostel building after Mama Peace

 The University of Lagos management has revealed that its proposed 15storey female hostel building which they would start to build soon will be named after the wife of the president, Patience Jonathan.
Mama Peace is expected to be in Lagos on Friday, Feb 22, for the foundation laying of the project which is expected to gulp N3billion.

House of Reps Member move to save Nigerians from imminent fuel scarcity


According to Punch, ‘16 vessels are said to have been held in the nation’s territorial waters by the Nigerian Navy and restrained from discharging their contents until “signals” are received from Abuja’.

Hon.Dayo Bush-Alebiosu last week raised the motion as a matter of urgent public importance, informing the House that on a daily basis, the government paid $4.8m as demurrage to the owners of the vessels in the last three months. He said the total amount said to have been paid out so far stood at $446.4m. Continue...

According to Hon. Dayo Bush-Alebiosu, the vessels carried petroleum products meant to be used in the country, adding that keeping the vessels on the seas could lead to fuel scarcity soon.
In his words, “A reliable source at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation told me on the condition of anonymity that if this matter is not resolved soonest, the country will face fuel scarcity. The source said the fuel being used in the country now is the last from our reserve,” Bush-Alebiosu added.

Boy dies of heart attack after masturbating 56 times on Valentine's day

Valentines Day ended in tragedy for a Portland teenager after he  apparently masturbated a world record, jaw-dropping 56 times non-stop before dying of a heart attack. Jerome Carpenter was found dead in his bedroom after apparently masturbating too much. It is speculated that Jerome was suffering from depression due to being “extremely lonely” on Valentines Day.
