Chris Brown’s visit to Nigeria last weekend has come and gone but what
most people did not know is the American R & B singer was reportedly
paid a whopping $1m for his appearance with a 15-man crew in the
country.Although financial details of the deal were not made public, we
gathered that a significant part of that money was paid by Oando boss,
Wale Tinubu with telecommunications giant, Etisalat, coming in as last
minute sponsors of the gig which held at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel
& Suites Lagos.
In a related development, the owner of the gigantic house in which
Chris Brown was lodged during his visit has been reported to belong to
Sayyu Dantata, the owner of MRS Petroleum.
The mansion, located on Banana Island Ikoyi, awed Chris Brown so
much that he posted photos of it on Instagram with the caption; “This house I’m at in Nigeria is big as f**k!”
