Wedding tinz by Charly Boy
Last week as I stayed glued too CNN because of the fort coming American election, I saw a mini documentary on Weddings, The Naija style. I must say that from time, we do know how to put on a show, especially my brothers from the west.We as Africans are generally boisterous people. We love events and for
us, everything is a large party and the larger the party, the more
successful an occasion is interpreted to be. Naming ceremonies,
weddings, even funerals have become one big jamboree and my personal
opinion is that we are losing the significance of this occasions which
are meant to be solemn by the noisy chaos we have around it. Am
particularly going to focus on wedding tins.

‘Mr. President, Your Statements Are Demarketing Nigeria’ - PDP
Press statement from the PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) draws the attention of Nigerians to the harmful consequences of the unabated negative statements from the very father of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari, on the economy and the general image of the country.
The party said “it is worrisome that in the last six months, the President, instead of making efforts to harness resources and grow the economy, has rather continued to apply himself, perhaps unwittingly, to demarketing the nation and scaring away investors through negative labeling of Nigerians and unwarranted unhealthy portrayal of the nation’s economy”.
APC leaders demand end to Saraki's CCT Travail
According to a report by Tribune, some leaders of APC who were impressed with the way he handled the screening and confirmation of all 36 ministers, now want the trial to end. They reportedly met recently to find ways to reconcile Buhari and Saraki
A source in the party told Sunday Tribune that the party chiefs were impressed that Saraki got the Senate to clear all the nominees, despite some real bottlenecks laid on the path of some of them.
“You can see that even in the days when the PDP had overwhelming majority, it was not always certain of getting all the ministerial nominees through the Senate. Most times, the Senate, even with an overwhelming majority of PDP members used to reject nominees of PDP presidents. But with a slim majority in the current Senate, the Senate President secured clearance for all our nominees. This is a good omen,” a leader of the party said.

"I'm not the humblest person so I need haters" - Cristiano Ronaldo
"I am not the humblest person in the world, I admit that," he told The Times. "I am not fake. But I like to learn. I don't mind people hating me, because it pushes me. When I go to play away they are always against me, but it's good. You have to see the good things from the haters. I need the enemy. It is part of the business. They start screaming when I touch the ball." he said
"It had started already when I was 18 or 19. It is not a problem for me. It is a motivation."
The superstar also spoke of his gratitude towards former coach Sir Alex Ferguson:
"When my daddy was dying, he was in a hospital in London, and it was not good. I said to Sir Alex Ferguson, 'Coach, I want to go'. It was a crucial moment of the season.
"But Ferguson said: 'Football doesn't mean anything compared to your dad. If you want to go, go. I will always appreciate that."
