A 26-year-old National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, member serving in Bayelsa State, Miss Folakemi Akinbode, is now struggling for her life at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, following a brutal attack from suspected cultists.Folakemi Akinbode, an NYSC nurse attached to the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, Bayelsa state, was viciously attacked by a group of still unidentified hoodlums on Monday August 5th around 9pm on her way to the corpers' lodge.
Folakemi was returning from her shift in the hospital when the hoodlums attacked her with a machete. Her right hand was nearly severed. Fortunately she survived the attack. That is her above after surgery.
