The entire last floor of the three-story building situated on Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja was burnt down, while the second floor was partly destroyed. No one was injured in the inferno but equipments worth millions of Naira were destroyed. The fire was caused by power surge.Management, editors and staff of TheNEWS, and its sister publication, P.M. NEWS will never forget Wednesday, 21 November, 2012. Infact, majority of them are yet to recover from the shock which resulted from the fire which razed the third floor of its corporate headquarters on 27 Acme Road, Agidingbi, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
