Her award as the Best Gospel Artiste of the Year 2009 at the Appreciation of Women in Entertainment and Art in London was an auspicious and record-shattering entrant into the league of the A-list gospel artistes in Africa.
Anny, a Banking and Finance graduate of Kano State Polytechnic with a masters degree in Management from Bayero University, Kano, is currently redefining gospel music in Nigeria and giving more life to it.
Her career started at a very tender age in the children’s choir in Kano. She graduated into the adult choir in no time due to her immeasurable talent and vocal delivery.
She sang and performed around churches in Kano State courting so many fans and admirers. The performances acted as a catalyst to the starting of her career.
Anny is a visionary, she has always believed that her talents will open doors for her and create a well deserved future as a female music minister.She is in love with all kinds of music that connect with her soul, whether gospel R n B, pop, soul and other genres. Music to her is a source of joy and strength, its medicine to her soul. She is inspired by the experiences of life and things that happen to people around her.
Anny released her first album, 'Your Mercy' in 2009 to a critical acclaim. The album greatly announced her arrival in the same year with international recognitions, nominations and awards.
She was also a nominee at the 2010 edition of the Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).
Her new 19 track album titled 'Time' has songs like 'Right Now', 'Yabo', 'Stay With Me', 'Come n See', 'If No Be God'and few others.
It favours collaboration from talented acts like Kefee, Soul-E, Sammie Okposo and Mekoyo with the production imprints of great producers like Wole Oni, Sammie Okposo, Mekoyo, K.Solo and Phat- E.She has performed on the same platforms around the world and in Nigeria with great artistes; like Sammie Okposo, Kefee, Bouqui, Omawunmi, Onyeka Onwenu, to mention a few.
She has also performed for the President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the current governor of her state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan on different occasions.
She has also been the host of 'Anny and friends in Concert', a yearly musical event that bring together renowned Gospel artistes in an atmosphere of worship.
Anny, also runs an Educational Foundation that help the less privilege children who cannot afford the high cost of today's education, the foundation, ANNYLOVE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, also assists the motherless babies and prison inmates, by bringing relief materials.
