MEET Rex — the real-life million-dollar bionic man

Rex — short for robotic exoskeletons — was unveiled yesterday to show how boffins could soon save lives.
Amazing features include synthetic blood, a prosthetic heart and eyes that can actually SEE.
Scientists say the £640,000 project proves we can replace body parts. US 70s TV hit The Six Million Dollar Man starred Lee Majors as a re-built astronaut.
The 6ft 2ins artificial man was made by top UK roboticists for Channel 4 documentary How To Build A Bionic Man, aired tomorrow.
